We have a team of time-lapse professionals dedicated to servicing short-term & long-term time-lapse projects across Singapore & Malaysia. In the last 12 years, we have set up more than 240 time-lapse cameras.

TIME-LAPSE - MAKING OF
While some short-term projects like event set-ups take several days, most of our construction time-lapse projects last several years. The production of all time-lapse projects follows a 3-phase process: Planning, Capturing and Editing.

1 - PLANNING
During the planning stage, we assess the site to determine the optimal time-lapse camera position, accounting for power availability, obstructions, access permits, and third-party requirements. We then recommend the most suitable system configuration.
2 - CAPTURE
Depending on the project scale and layout, we may deploy single or multiple time-lapse cameras for optimal coverage. Using the TITAN X system, cameras are remotely monitored, with monthly on-site routine inspections. Weekly or monthly progress reports can be prepared upon request.
3 - EDITING
Once time-lapse capture is complete, our post-production team processes the thousands of images—handling editing, music, narration, motion graphics, and 2D/3D animation as required. The final video is rendered to your preferred format and resolution, then archived in our LTO-5 tape system.

POWER
Short-term time-lapse projects run on external batteries, while long-term installations require solar panels or AC power. Our TITAN X system uses lead-acid batteries that can operate independently for over 10 days, providing added reliability.

SETTING
For long-term projects, we use aperture priority to maintain consistent depth of field while allowing the camera to adjust exposure through shutter speed as lighting conditions change.

INTERVAL
Short-term time-lapses use the shortest workable interval (about 2 seconds in daylight, up to 30 seconds at night). Long-term projects use 10–15 minute intervals for efficiency and creative effect.

STORAGE
Long-term time-lapse projects can generate hundreds of gigabytes of data. To ensure maximum security, we back up each project onto dedicated LTO data tapes in addition to cloud storage.

TBOX TITAN X – DSLR Time-lapse Camera
Skyshot is the creator of the TBOX time-lapse camera system, a versatile time-lapse camera system that can be set up in both indoor or outdoor locations. Multiple systems can be installed and connected to a central server, allowing them to be monitored from a single system. The TITAN X time-lapse system uses Canon DSLR technology to capture high-quality 24-megapixel photos onwards, producing UltraHD 4K videos.

The TITAN X captures high-res photos in regular intervals, simultaneously uploading the data to our cloud server at regular intervals, 24/7. This allows our clients to view and download the time-lapse photos. You can also render the time-lapse video from the Photo Viewer.

Future Proof with 4K UHD
As many of our long-term time-lapse projects span 3–5 years, we future-proof our work by shooting in 6K using the latest DSLR systems, with final delivery in 4K UltraHD.

Solar Powered
The Titan time-lapse camera is energy-efficient and can be powered by a 100W solar panel. In the event of prolonged bad weather, its battery system can operate independently for up to seven days without charging.


Fault Alert System
The Titan X server will automatically send an alert message to your phone via Telegram, if no image is received from your time-lapse camera. Thus, you can rest assured that your camera functions as it should.

Secured Storage in Our Data Cloud
With most long-term time-lapses lasting several years; protecting your precious images is paramount. The images from Titan X are sent via 4G cellular data to our secured data cloud. The project photos from day 1 to project completion are available for your viewing and download via tboxsystems.com. You can also render timelapse videos with the Photo Viewer.
